“Within your heart, keep one still, secret spot where dreams may go.”
- Louise Driscoll
Great time to make your plans, renew or change your goals, ideas, wants, dreams, healing practices, wishes, and Mantras as we head into the months of April, May, and June.
Questions to ask Yourself:
- What am I doing that’s working for me in my practice of Intentional Self Care?
- Do I need to change, renew, tweak any of my ideas, or practices to help me achieve Intentional Self Care?
- What is my Self-Care Goal(s) for the 2 nd Quarter?
- What am I struggling with that needs healing?
- What practice seems to help the most?
- If I’m too busy (and I know Caregivers are very busy) what is one small practice I could start with? It’s doesn’t have to be a big project or practice. Even a daily practice only lasting 5 minutes is a great place to start, A 5-minute yoga stretch, or your favorite online exercises, a one-page writing exercise, a 5-minute read in your favorite book, a 5-minute pause at the window noticing the bounty of Spring awakening, while Mr. Coffee sputters. A 5-minute afternoon cup of tea.
An Easy Way to get started is to jot down a few ideas. Don’t evaluate them just yet, let them sit in plain view to look at while waiting for the coffee, cooking dinner, or before you go to bed. I know you’ll find one thing you can do. And if you can’t think of any ideas or inspirations…drop me an email and I’ll send you a list. If you have a few ideas or goals set, I’d love to hear how you are taking care of yourself.
